Subtopic: School life is amazing.
Aims: to learn and use phrases to describe life at school, to develop students` topic vocabulary; to encourage students to talk about their own lives; to give practice in reading for gist and specific information; to introduce the concept of websites; to facilitate students` understanding of the functions and usage of the modals can, could, must, have to, should; to give practice in listening for gist and specific information.

Introduction

Vocabulary work
-You see school deals with a lot of things or you deal with a lot of things at school. What are your associations with this word?
-To continue our vocabulary work let`s do Ex.1p.50 (PB)
-Reflexion ( I look at the same exercise)
2. Speaking
-What is school?
-Why do people study? (You go to school to become cleverer. Are you intelligent enough to say what holiday it is on April, 12th)
-What makes your parents choose a place for you to study? What are their arguments in favour of this or that school?

3. Reading
-Pre-reading task
We are going to work with the text (p50-51 PB). Have a look and say what kind of reading it is and where you can see it.
Website advert
You have to understand the difference between these words. I am going to read the sentences and your task is to say if it is website or advert (TB p49)
