Nowadays, more and more people are using the Internet for certain purposes. Currently, I am working on my project to find out what devices to access the Internet are popular in Zetland. As part of my project, I have found a bar chart with some relevant data on the subject and in this essay, I am going to analyse it.

It is clear from the bar chart that a third of respondents (33%) use smartphones to access the Internet. Almost one-fifth of Zetlanders (19%) prefer to go on the net via tablets. By contrast, only 4% of those surveyed claim smartwatches to be the most popular devices to access the Internet.

A more detailed examination of the data in the bar chart reveals that a laptop is nearly twice as popular as a desktop computer (30% and 14% respectively) when it comes to choosing a device to access the Internet. It comes as no surprise because a laptop is portable and can be used everywhere, unlike a desktop computer.

It is worth noting that some serious problems can arise with using the Internet. One of them is hacking into people’s personal data. A possible solution to this problem is resetting their passwords and monitoring their credit and financial accounts regularly.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that the role of the Internet in our life is crucial as it helps us to communicate with people worldwide, quickly find or share necessary information and do business in different areas.
