The teacher is not a profession, it is a way of life. There is no profession more honorable than the profession of a teacher, there is no labor more difficult and responsible than his work. The modern pace of life requires a teacher's continuous professional growth, creative attitude to work and commitment.

I have chosen a career in education because I believe that it is one of the most important functions performed in our culture. I can’t think of any job as important to society as teaching. Because teachers give people knowledges, and not just how to write, read or speak correctly, but how to think and what to do in some life situations.

A teacher should have many good features. Firstly, as a teacher I should love learning and make students love it. I love and respect children and it will help me in my working. Also, a teacher should be fair and seek impartially to treat all, especially at rewards and punishments, and not to have "pets". A good teacher should be affectionate and friendly. But it must be sincere and come from a good, loving heart.

I think that I already have some characteristics of a good teacher, but there's no limit to perfection. So, I try to develop as many as possible features to become a good teacher. When I had to make a choice, I chose this profession without any doubts. I believe that in this profession I can find myself. Because I love to share experience and knowledge with students. And I want to be a teacher for developing a new generation of thinking individuals.
