Post-lesson reflection note.
My lesson was based on the study of grammar structures. This lesson was organized in the second grade. All students in this group are nine years old. The students have a mixed learning style. They are intelligent and ready to learn. They are interested in study English and work with pleasure. Our course-book is M. Z. Biboletova "Enjoy English" for 2 class. The theme of the lesson was the use of nouns in the Possessive case. It was Unit 3 Lesson 40, the eighth lesson in the Unit. We began our work with the revision of the words we need in the lesson: a box, a pencil, a pen, a pencil-box, a rubber, a book, a workbook, a cat with a hat, a hat for a cat, what, who ever saw. In the lesson we worked with structures: Have you got a pencil?, Yes, I have got a pencil. No, I haven’t got a pencil. and new structures: Ann's cat, Bill’s pig. To present the new material I used explanatory and illustrative and playing technology. At the practice stage I used individual work, work in pairs, frontal work and a game. We worked with the textbook, pictures and toys. The students worked with pleasure and were interested in learning this material. At this stage the students were offered to describe the classmates’ things using the Possessiv case. Doing this task they did not make mistakes so I think that all students have learned the new material. I was satisfied with the lesson and the students’ work.
