Essential Question

The title of the project is “Definite, indefinite and zero articles in English language”

Essential question: “What are the peculiarities of usage articles in English language?”

Our essential question is open-ended because there is now one exact and proper answer. It is challenging. It takes great analysis and investigation about the articles in English. It is meaningful. It is one of the most important grammar topic in English Language. According to the level of complexity it requires multiple activities and the synthesis of different types of information before it can be answered. According to level of coherence it brings coherence to disparate project activities. Students will gather information to the topic and the do practical exercises to define which article is correct for the particular context. According to level of authenticity this question addresses authentic concerns. It leads the learners to important, transferable, applicable ideas that may unite varied disciplines(e.g.: with geography). It encourages collaboration. Students will work in 3 teams. Each group will be responsible for particular type of article.
