Students’ roles

1. Determine the EQ

- Teacher as provocateur;

Develop guiding questions and determine EQ

- Students create the topic of the project, set the goals and objectives of the project. The distribution of roles within the group

2. Searching the materials

- The teacher plays the observer’s role, allowing the students to organize the search material and the degree of responsibility of each group member themselves.

- Searching for resources, production of material for the project.

3. Analyzing the information

- Teacher has the roles of ally, provocateur

- Students read and analyze parts of the book and then discuss in groups

4. Constructing acting out

- Teacher as in-role, help students to create a scene with own image

- Students construct acting out using the text content and their own imaginary

5. Assessment rubric

- Teacher as a neutral facilitator, let students create rubrics themselves

- Students create assessment rubrics and determine criteria

6. Presentation

- Teacher as a neutral facilitator, sees the project presentation

- Students shows the project results – acting out and presentation

7. Assessment

- Teacher as official view, guide and certain issues

- Students have peer assessment according to the rubrics they created before

8. Reflection

- Teacher has the role of declaring interests, ally

- Students share their experience and express opinion about project process and results

9. Feedback

- Teacher has the role of ally

- Students discuss project results, answer Essential Question they have in the beginning of the project
