There are many peoples and cultures in the world, but you certainly will not confuse Englishmen with anyone! The English are by nature polite and never tired of saying "Please" and "Thank you". The English do not shake hands when they meet. They try not to show emotions in public even in tragic situations.
The English are a nation of homebodies. They say: "My house is my fortress" and do not like neighbors to interfere in their lives. The English prefer small houses, designed for one family. The fireplace is the heart of the English house.
The British love gardening and love to talk about it. They can discuss the methods of growing cucumbers or talk about their unique flower garden, so unlike the rest. Sometimes the British grow plants in a box outside the kitchen window or in the garden near the house.
On weekends, those who live in large cities like to travel to nature. Those who stay at home try to do all the things that they did not have time to do in a week. Saturday night is the right time for parties, dancing, going to the movies or theater. On Sunday after breakfast, the English work in the garden, walk with a dog, visit the pub. One feature of the British people is a love for animals. They are convinced that if a person holds in his house a pet, he certainly cannot be bad.
