Конспект урока английского языка в 6 классе. Spotlight-6, Module 9. Тема "Food and drinks".

Ход урока. Stages of the lesson.

1.Приветствие Lead - in

  • Good morning, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. Thank you, sit down, please. Today we have an unusual lesson because we have guests in our lesson . My colleagues are here too. I hope that everybody who is present at our lesson won’t be strict towards us. We promise you to do all our best.

  • What day is it today?

  • What day of the week today?

  • What do you think about today weather? The weather is good or bad today?

  • Who is absent today?

  1. Формулирование учащимися целей и задач урока. Introduce the language.

First of all, imagine you are at a fast food restaurant. Please, look at the board. It’ a menu.

You are customers who would like to order food.

My question is: What should we know to order food there?

P1: We should know the names of food/drinks.

My question is: Thank you, what else?

P2: We should know polite phrases for ordering food.

My question is: Yes, you are right. Thank you.

So, can you explain the aim of this lesson? So, what is the main aim of our lesson?

P3: I think, the main aim of our lesson is to find out what phrases people use to order food at fast food restaurant.
