Урок-викторина «SPORT»

Цели урока:

1)образовательные:

-отработать лексику по теме «Виды спорта»;

-повторить глагол can

2) воспитательные:

-воспитывать интерес к изучению английского языка;

3) развивающие:

-развивать навыки аудирования и чтения;

-развивать навыки устной речи, используя лексику по темам «Виды спорта».

Ход урока

1. Организационный этап урока.

Good morning, children! Nice to meet you, look at our guests and say: « Hello! » I think you are ready for this lesson, it will be not usual, today we have 2 teams, for every right answer I’ll give you this ball, at the end of our lesson we’ll count how many balls have you got and who will be winner.

1. Look at the blackboard you can see some words read them:

FOOTBALL, TENNIS, TABLE TENNIS, VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL, and try to translate them

• make sentences with these words

• now as usual phonetic exercise: ex.6 p.86

• now I’ll give you some questions and you short answers me:

Can your mother play table tennis?

Does Akim play football?

Can you swim?

Do you speak French?

Can your mother ride a horse?

……………………………….

Can your brother play volleyball?

Can Polly play tennis?

Do you speak Italian?

Can you play hopscotch?

Does he live in America?

-I’ll give you some papers with words make and write down sentences: She likes to play tag. My father can ride a bike. They like to play hopscotch. My sister can ride a horse.

- Go to the blackboard and write down the questions for them and explain why?

FOR THE 1- st TEAM

My name is Bob. I am seven. I have got a father and a mother.

My mother is a doctor, my father is a pilot. I have got 2 sisters and a brother. I am a pupil.

I go to school. I like to play football with my friends. I like to swim very much, my brothers like to play table tennis but I don’t. My brother can play hide-and-seek, we play in the afternoon.

FOR THE 2-nd TEAM

My name is Kate. I am six. I have got a father and a mother.

My mother is an engineer, my father is a dentist. I have got 3 brothers. I am a pupil.

I go to school. I like to play basketball with my friends. I like to ride a bike very much, my brothers like to play football but I don’t. My brother can play hopscotch, we play at home.

-Every team translates it for one sentence

- And a crossword, write down words with the word «ball»

Each word has got the word BALL:

-Your homework was imagine 5 questions and another team make answers

- I’ll give your 3 minutes make words as much as you can:

Basketball (basket, ball, bat, set, tea)

-And the last –translating ex.7p. 86-87
