1. Motivation. Activity 1. Listen and sing the song “Old Mac Donald”

Objective: - to warm up;

• to revise numbers

Time: 3 min

Steps:

1. Teacher says: “Let’s sing the song about domestic animals”

2. Teacher plays the DVD and asks to sing along with the DVD

II. Asking and checking homework

2.1. 2.1. Activity 2a. Bingo game

Objective: - to revise the domestic animals

• to check PP’ knowledge

Time: 4 min

1. 2.2.Activity 2b. She has/He has

Objective: - to revise the structure ‘She has/ He has’

Time: 5 min

Steps:

1. Teacher explains how to do the activity correctly

2. Teacher encourages pupils which has finished first with “smiles”

III. The presentation of new theme:

3.1. Activity 3a. Presenting new vocabulary with the help of flashcards

Objectives: - to learn the names of wild animals;

- to practice pronouncing the words about wild animals ;

Time: 4 min

Steps:

1. Teacher asks the pupils to look at the flashcards and to repeat after teacher.

3.2. Activity 3b. Presenting new vocabulary with the help of song “Zoo”

Time : 3min

1.Teacher plays the DVD and asks the pupils to listen and repeat the words.

1. Teacher explains the pronunciation of new words.

3.3. Activity 3c. Domestic or wild?

Objectives: - to consolidate and practice new words belong to the theme;

Time: 5 min

Steps:

1. Teacher asks the pupils to choose one of the patterns of animals and put to the right place: to the farm or to the zoo

3.4. Activity 3d. The game “Who are you?”

Time: 7min

Objective: - to learn to say the animal, its color, its size and body parts

-to have fun

IV. Consolidation of new theme:

4.1. Zoo song

Objective: to consolidate wild animals

Time: 4 min

4.2. Watching the cartoon “The adventures of Gogo”

Objective: - to revise learnt vocabulary and structures

Time: 4 min

Steps:

1. Teacher plays the cartoon on the projector

2. Pupils only listen and remember vocabulary and structure
