1.Организация класса.
Сообщение целей, задач плана работы на уроке.
- The theme of our lesson is “ What do you know about Cinema? “
As you know the 20th century may be called the century of film making. Cinema and TV films have become an important part of our lives. And today we are going to speak about the development of cinematography, about Hollywood and its history, about the history of Russian film industry, study a new grammar material, do some exercises, listen to some individuals tasks, practice in reading and work with a computer.
2.Oбучение основным коммуникативным умениям.
( Обучение лексической стороне речи.)
- Let’s start. The development of cinematography brought to life the world cinema empire called Hollywood. Using this word web tell me what you know about Hollywood(учащиеся используют схему на экране )
P1- First it was a little city with orange forest and great weather. But one day in 1908 a group of people from Chicago came to Los Angeles to make a film. Since that day a lot of directors, actors, other workers, producers have been coming to Los Angeles. Mary Pickford and Charly Chaplin were the stars of silent films.
P2- In the 1920s Hollywood made 80% of the worlds films. Silent, black-and-white films were forced out by sound films. Full-length films came up to take place of short films. The first color film was “ Gone with the Wind “.
P3- In 1911 the first studio appeared in Hollywood. The number of studios grew very quickly. They combined in large corporations and now the biggest film companies are MGM, Paramount, Columbia Pictures and so on.
- You’ve done a good job. As you know Russian cinematography also has a long history. Using this table tell me about the history of Russian film industry. Do it in turn, please! (учащиеся по очереди рассказывают о российском кинематографе, используя таблицу на экране)

3. Обучение грамматической стороне речи.

Our next step is grammar. As you know people have different opinions about different genres. Lets read these opinions and discuss them.(уч-ся смотрят на экран и читают мнение первого лица)
And now say to me how David expresses his opinion? Read or name the sentence which helps David to express his opinion.( уч-ся находят предложение с нужной новой грамматической структурой )
How does Pam express her opinion? ( уч-ся читают мнение Памелы и называют предложение с новой грамматической структурой)
Now lets see if you are right or wrong.(уч-ся смотрят на экран и читают правило с примерами)
First of all read the rule and then the examples. Pay attention to the tenses. I’d like to say that there is no difference in translation of these structures. For example , I LOVE IT –Я люблю это. I DO LOVE IT – Я ЛЮБЛЮ это.
Let’s check up how you’ve understood the rule.
(уч-ся смотрят на экран и выполняют упражнение, в котором нужно заполнить пропуски в микро-диалоге )
4.Выполнение письменного задания контролирующего
характера.
Now I want you to open your activity books at p. 80, Ex.6. Your task is using the new grammar material change the sentences to show what the person really like or dislike. Let’s read the example.(один из уч-ся читает пример)
Do you understand the task? Start working! Don’t waste time.
(уч-ся выполняют упр-е)
5. Обучение говорению.
- As you know film making industry developed rapidly and the
Number of genres of films grew constantly. What genres do you know? (уч-ся смотрят на экран и используют при ответе таблицу)
To my mind each person has a preference for this or that genre.
Let’s see what genres you like or dislike? And why? You can use the words from p.185 instead of dots. And pictures on the screen will help you.(уч-ся по очереди рассказывают о своих любимых жанрах)

And it’s high time to listen to the presentation of your classmates. Listen to them carefully and then you are to say what film you would like to see and why?

6. Выполнение итогового теста
-And now listen to what you’ve got to do. There are two tasks to choose from. The first one is a computer test. And the highest possible mark for it is 4.The second one is scanning. The highest possible mark for it is 5.Who would like to work with computer take your seats before it. The rest will work with scanning. The task is given on your sheets of papers.
7. Подведение итогов урока.
