Theme of the lesson: Plural form of nouns

The objectives of the lesson: 1) to teach children to form plural nouns, explain them the rule

2) Children should be able to use suffix –s, -es correctly in their speech

3) To bring up them to be attentive, active, friendly and help each other

Materials used: books, pictures, cards, markers, posters

The presentation of the lesson

Warm up exercise: I will use a small ball and throw it to one of my student and that one is to say the name of classroom objects. Example: a desk, a chair, a board, a pen, an eraser, a pencil, a notebook etc.

New theme: All the things above mentioned are the examples of nouns. So children today we learn how to form plural nouns.

For most nouns in English, we add -s to the singular noun to make the plural form.

If a noun ends in -s, -sh, -ch or -x, we add -es.
