I. The theme of the lesson: Do you like fairy tales? «7» «V» 2014 yil.
II. Objectives:
educational: to learn about fairy tales, to give information about how to begin English fairy tales. To remember about past continuous tense, interrogative form of this tense.
developing: to enable pupils to use the past continuous tense, to make up interest about fairy tales.
socio-cultural: to raise awareness of the ways of making sentences in past continuous tense, fairy tales.
The type of the lesson: giving new information.
The methods: combined, listening, writing, orally.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to use the structures of past continuous tense, interrogative form of this tense. Give basic information about the beginning of fairy tales.
III. The equipment of the lesson: the textbook of the 6th form, Fly high . Blackboard and pictures, Lap top, crosswords, cards.

What is fairy tale? A fairy tale is a type of short story that normally features folkloric characters such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, dwarves, giants or gnomes, and typically magic or enchantments. These tales or stories are usually told so as to amuse children.

Past continuous – o’tgan davomli zamon
O’tgan davomli zamon fe’l formasi o’tgan zamonda ma’lum bir paytda davom etib turgan ish harakatlarni ifodalash uchun ishlatiladi. Bu zamondagi gaplar egadan so’ng to be yordamchi fe’lining o’tgan zamon shakli was, were undan so’ng kelgan kesim vazifasidagi mustaqil fe’l o’zagiga –ing qo’shimchasi qo’shiladi.
