на тему

TRAVELLING


Цели:

  • Совершенствование употребления в речи лексико – грамматического материала по теме «Путешествие».

  • Развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков: говорения, аудирования, чтения и письма.

  • Развитие навыков и умений высказывать и аргументировать свою точку зрения.

  • Развитие языковой, речевой и социокультурной компетенции.

  • Воспитывать у учащихся интерес к познаванию мира.

Оборудование: раздаточный материал, фотографии с мест достопримечательностей, компьютер, проектор, интерактивная доска, презентация.

Ход урока:


I. Организационный момент:


Teacher: Hello, boys and girls!

Pupils: Hello, teacher!

Teacher: How are you today?

Pupils: We are fine! And you?


II. Введение в сюжет урока:


Teacher: I’m fine too! Thank you! Sit down, please.

So, boys and girls, today we are to start our lesson, but a bit unusually.


Now I want you to guess the subject of our today lesson.

Listen attentively! What is it?

Pupils: It’s an airport, railway station, cars etc. .


Teacher: Look at the blackboard and try to guess the missing word.

A. He likes to travel alone or with his students. He travels from curiosity. He likes to see the beauty of the world and learn traditions of other countries. He thinks that travelling is fascinating and enjoyable. It broadens our mind and allows us to understand other people better.


B. He likes to travel alone or with his friends. Usually he travels for pleasure or in search of adventures. When he travels he likes to go sightseeing or explore unknown places. He believes that travelling is exciting and gives us life experience.


C. He doesn’t like to travel at all. He believes that it it’s better to stay at home, because travelling is dangerous, troublesome and expensive.



D. Usually he travels alone on business. When he travels he likes to meet new people. He thinks that travelling is useful but sometimes it’s a bit tiring.









VII. Составление диалога c использованием модальных глаголов:

Teacher: Well! We all like travelling, but we often don’t know which of the things you should or should not do when planning your trip. Now I want to invite my friend, an experienced traveller. She has travelled a lot of countries. Now she is ready to answer your questions and give you some advice and recommendations.

Open your books on page 71, exercise 3 will help you. Don’t forget to use the modal verbs.

Exp. traveller: Bonjour, madams et meseurs! Je m’appelle Jullette….

Oh…pardon! I’m sorry! I’ve just arrived from Paris! I’ll be glad to answer your questions!


Pupil: We should get a visa going to London, shouldn’t we?

Exp. traveller: Yes, you should.



Pupil: We should take a passport, shouldn’t we?

Exp. traveller: Yes, of course, you should! Don’t forget it!

Teacher: As you can see, these people, in the previuos task like travelling. Imagine if there were no borders all over the world.

But what about Dagestan? What attractive places do you know in Dagestan?

Let’s imagine that we’re a travel agency and we’re to call our clients to our republic.


Pupils: They are - the Fort of Naryn-Kala, the Sulak Canyon, the Waterfalls in Khunzakh, the Samur Forest ,Gamsutle etc.)


Teacher: Now I want you to be designers. I’m giving you the pictures of the most famous places of interest in Dagestan. You are to make reports or leaflets, using the photos and your knowledge about these places.

Let’s take a tour about our native land.

I’m giving you few minutes to prepare



The Sulak Canyon is one the most famous attractions in Dagestan. It is in the valley of Sulak River. It’s one of the deepest canyons in the world. A lot of tourists visit it every year.


The Fort of Naryn-Kala is an ancient fortress in Derbent. It blocked the entrance to Persia. Now it is just an attractive place for tourists.


The Waterfalls in Khunzakh is in mountains and 70 (seventy) metres high. It has the name Tobot. It’s a real wonder of nature.


The Samur Forest is the only liana forest in Russia. You can meet a lot of species of different animals, birds and fish here. One of the most beautiful forests is back to back with the Caspian Sea.


Gamsutle is an abandoned aul high in the mountains of Dagestan. There is only one inhabitant there and he is very glad to see the tourists who visit his aul. You can there only on foot.


Sary-Khum is one of the highest barkhans un the outskirts of Dagestan. “Sary-Khum” means yellow sand. There are a lot of legends about this magnificent sand hill.
