Asks the students to find in the text the sentences with words: equator, system, temperature and translate them into Russian.

Encourages them to guess the meaning of these words without dictionary

Shows the slide with several questions:

Which planet is closest to the Earth?

Is Jupiter closer to The Earth than Saturn?...

Encourages the students to answer the questions using the map

Listen to the text, find the planets on the map of the solar system

Read through the text, find the sentences, translate the sentences with these words.
