Тема:” Can people do without you”
Цель: Создать условия для формирования лексических, грамматических и фонетических навыков по теме, также раздаточный материал.
Задачи:
Образовательная: Закрепить знания по пройденному материалу;
Развивающая: Развитие психических процессов, связанных с речемыслительной деятельностью (внимания, памяти);
Воспитательная: Воспитывать терпимое, доброе отношение к людям, нуждающимся в помощи;
Практическая: Формирование знаний об благотворительных организациях, существующих в иноязычных странах, а также существующих в нашей стране.
Ход урока.
Good morning. Sit down, please. Who is absent today? So I am very glad to see all of you. And the topic of our conversation is” Can people do without you”. But our today’s lesson is unusual. We will play today. And our game is called “My last visited in a charity organization”. But before we begin you must divided into two teams. Who wants to be the captain of the first team? Come here. And who wants to be the captain of the second team? So we have captains. And each of you will to choose the members of your team. You will the first. Choose, please. So let’s begin. The first exercise is called “My team”.
My team
Your task will be to construct the name of your team and to draw the emblem of your team. And I’ll give you three minutes. And then I will ask. For this exercise the winner get 3 jetton and the second team get 2 jetton.
“My last visited in a charity organization”.
Charity an organisation that helps people who are poor, in difficulties, etc. In Britain people do something for charity in different ways. You can be a member of charity organisation and work for it. The members of charity are called volunteers. They collect money, clothes and food to help poor people. They organize charity events and concerts. It is not necessary to be a member of charity organisation. You can also collect and give money, or clothes or food to a charity. You can take part in any charity events.
Imagine that you have a diary in which you like to describe all of your days. And in this diary you described your last visit in such kind of charity organisation. Let’s remember how it was. And your task will be the next. Try to do a little composition about your visited in a local charity organization. Now I’ll give you cards. Here you must write down a ten sentences. Both, your and your team must use next words. I’ll give you 5 minutes. And then I will ask.

My, visited, three days ago, a charity, homeless children, just chat, help to, voluntary work, good life experience, organize, charity concerts, contribution, go shopping.
For your answers I’ll give to each teams 3 jetton.
The next exercise is called a chain of letters by topic.

In each topic we have words which are fall into to topic which we study. And your task will be the next.
On the blackboard you and your team must work in a chain. For example you will the first. You go to the blackboard and write down the word by topic and then you go to the end of the chain and you write down the next word. And I’ll give you five minutes. And then I will ask. The winner must write down more words and without any mistakes. So how many words do you have? So I’ll give you… jetton.
We want to open a charity organization in Sharya.
Let’s imagine that you open in Sharya a charity organisation. And as every charity organisation you must have your own name and you own symbol. And your task will be the next.
You must think up a name of your organization and try to draw the symbol of your organization. And then you must explain why you draw such kind of symbol. And I’ll give you five minutes. And then I will ask. For this exercise the winner get 5 jetton and the second team get 3 jetton.

The history of one teenager who works in a charity organisation.
As you know December 5 is International Volunteer’s Day. A lot of children in Russia do something for charity. And Ksenya Bolokhova is one of them. Here is what she says about her work. And your task will be the next. Now I will read the text at least two times. For the first time you must to listen. And then you must to write in the blank words which we need in this text. I’ m a volunteer at the Youth Centre. I work for help the Homeless children on Saturdays. I learn about this charity from my teacher and decided to make my contribution to it. It’s my job to look after the children. We play, read books or just chat. Sometimes the members of the centre raise money and clothes for the charity and organize charity concerts. I like to be involved. It’s also a good life experience. Some of my friends feel uncomfortable. They do not know what to say or do. I worry sometimes too. But it doesn’t stop me. I just come and say hello.
And now the last competition. In our days there are many charity organisations which are help to different kind of people to different animals too. I will read you the description of charity organisation and you must give the name of this organisation. In this competition the main participants our captains.
