Theme: The Noun

The purpose of the lesson:

Students will learn to identify nouns, their types and basic grammatical properties.

1. Introduction (5 minutes)

Greeting the students.

Announcement of the lesson topic: "Noun as part of speech".

2. Review of the topic (10 minutes)

Definition of a noun: a word denoting objects, phenomena, qualities, states.

Examples of nouns from everyday life.

3. Classification of nouns (15 minutes)

Common nouns and their differences with specific ones.

Animate and inanimate nouns.

Proper and common nouns.

4. Grammatical characteristics of nouns (15 minutes)

Gender of nouns: masculine, feminine, neuter.

Number: singular and plural.

Cases: nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, creative, prepositional.

Studying the declension table of nouns.

5. Practical work (15 minutes)

Analysis of examples of nouns by species, genera and numbers.

Exercises for determining cases.
