2. Развитие видов речевой деятельности.

T: Open your books on page 48 and look at ex. 3. We will listen the dialogue before we will read it on roles. You will hear the following words in the text: There’s, there isn’t, is there, there is.

P: listening to an audio recording.

T: Now we will read the dialogue on roles. Pay attention to the phrase «there is» and when it is used.

Please, P1 and P2 read the first four lines. P3 and P4 will read the second four lines.

3. Введение нового языкового материала

T: Let's open section «grammar reference 2» at the end of the book and look at the rule There is/There are. The expression «There is or There are» helps to say that a person or object is in a certain place. This expression is translated as follows: «есть», «имеется», «существует», «находится».

«Is» is used with singular, «are» with plural. Open your books on page 49 and look at ex. 4.

Please, read the examples and complete the rules.

T: let's check your homework. You had to prepare exercise 4 on page 47 for a good reading.
