Good morning, class! How are you today? OK, sit down, please. Who can tell me, what day is it today? All right, let’s begin our lesson. Today we are going to continue studying our theme “Celebrations”. Besides, we need to speak about countable and uncountable nouns, and learn such words as SOME and ANY.

Ученики приветствуют учителя, отвечают на поставленный вопрос, используя разные речевые клише: I am OK, I am fine, thank you.

But first, let’s start with pronunciation. Ex.8, p.97. Listen and repeat words after the speaker.

All right, now we need to check your home task. You needed to learn 2 parts from the text at page 96. You have some time to revise your texts. Проверка текстов.

Ученики выполняют фон.зарядку – повторяют за диктором слова с тренируемым звуком.

Рассказывают тексты наизусть.

OK. On the previous lesson we’ve stopped on Ex. 4 at p.97. Let’s translate these words and find out, which word is a noun, which is a verb, or may be they are both. Let’s make simple sentences with these words.

All right, great job! Before we continue our lesson, let’s play a little game. One by one, you need to write a word, which begins on the letter of the main word CELEBRATION. You may write any word you know, but it’s important to write a word which is longer than the previous one. Is it clear? Ok, let’s begin.

Ученики переводят слова, определяют, какое слово является существительным, или глаголом, или может выступать в качестве этих двух частей речи.

Игра: по одному подходят к доске и записывают слова.
