Hello, my name is Winnie the Pooh. I live in the Russian forest. Well, I will tell you about my weekends. I study six days a week, that’s why I have only one day off. It’s on Sunday. This day I get up at nine or ten o’clock. I do my bed, wash myself and go to the kitchen. I always have something tasty on Sunday: bacon and eggs, bread with jam or my favorite honey.

After breakfast, if the weather is sunny, I go to see my friends. We often play volleyball or basketball in the yard till two o’clock in the afternoon. If the weather isn’t good, I prefer to be at home watching TV, listening to music, reading books speaking over the phone or just lying on the sofa. I don’t like to spend all the weekend watching TV. It’s much more interesting to play a game of chess with your partner or help friend piglet about the house or work in the garden or garage with tigger.

In the evening when all friends are together, we have some tea with a cake or biscuits, we talk to each other. Sometimes we sing songs. I like Sundays very much.

Hello, everyone. My name is Bart Simpson. I am 10 years old and I live with my parents in a small town in America. Today I want to tell you about my usual weekends.

From Monday to Friday I think about weekends OR how I will spend Saturday and Sunday. I have many friends, that’s why we play many games together.

On Saturday morning I never wake up too late. I wake up at ten o’clock in the morning. I take a shower and go to the kitchen. Then I have my breakfast at 11 o’clock.

Sometimes I go to the park in the afternoon if the weather is fine. My friends and I can also play different games during Sunday.

On Saturday I take extra lesson in Maths by my tutor. At half past six I go back home and all the family are here.

My mum cooks tasty meals and at seven o’clock we have our supper. My dad Homer is a good chess player. We often play chess in the evenings. And sometimes I win. In the evening I usually read my favorite book at nine o’clock or do my home task. At half past ten I always go to bed.

Saturdays and Sundays are the best days of the week. I always spend them with my family and friends.
