We celebrate Victory Day on May 9. On this day people in my town     lay flowers at the war memorial sites , give red carnations to the veterans and watch the fireworks at night .

Mithridates Mount is in the centre of Kerch. On the top of the Mount there’s the Glory Obelisk. On Victory Day veterans come here.

Monument to the Heroes of the Eltigen Landing. Sixty-one Eltigen defenders were honoured with the title «Hero of the Soviet Union». Eltigen Settlement is a symbol of courage and heroism.

The Adzhimushkai Quarry is the Underground Museum. For 170 days 15,000 soldiers and civilians fought heroically against the Nazi troops . Only 48 people came out alive. Victory Day!
