Возможный материал для беседы:
There are many women we can and should admire within science and technology. Valentina V. Tereshkova, a soviet cosmonaut, was the first woman to travel into space. On June 16, 1963, she was launched in the spacecraft Vostok 6, which completed 48 orbits in 71 hours. Although she had no pilot training, Tereshkova was an accomplished amateur parachutist and on this basis she was accepted for the cosmonaut programme when she volunteered in 1961. She travelled into space only a couple of years after Yuri Gagarin. On this mission, lasting almost three days in space, she performed various tests on herself to collect data on the female body's reaction to space flight. Tereshkova was named a hero of the Soviet Union and was twice awarded the Order of Lenin. Предполагаемый ответ:
It is probably very quiet and dark in space but you can see the stars more clearly. It's interesting to travel in space to discover new worlds and their inhabitants. The Earth is a rocky planet, so it seems sensible to look for life on other rocky planets too. Mercury is too close to the Sun, so it's too hot. And Pluto is too cold and far away to support life. Mars is most like the Earth. And it's also the most likely to have life. Titan, the largest moon of Saturn, could be similar to how the Earth was at the point when life started. Travelling in space we can find an answer to the question: "Are there intelligent aliens?" You shouldn't be an astronaut or cosmonaut to have a chance to go to space. Soon more and more people will go there as tourists. In 1000 years there will be a lot of settlements in space: towns with hotels and business centers. If people try hard they will find new sources of energy and there will be no pollution. Flying cars will be a common thing. There are a great many other things we will do in space. We will set up mining stations on the Moon, build observatories and have laboratories in space to
perform different experiments, to make new medicines of new materials, for example. Предполагаемый ответ:
A: Hi Anton. How was your visit to the space museum?
B: Oh, it was fantastic! I went into a machine that makes you feel like you are really in space.
A: What do you think it is like to travel into space? B: I think it must be very exciting but a little bit scary. I would like to know how it feels to be weightless because there is no gravity. I would also like to see what the Earth looks like from space.
A: What else would you like to see in space?
B: Well, I think it would be amazing to see the sun and the moon and maybe even go to Mars one day.
In 1000 years, people will be living in space. We will all have our own private space ships and we will be able to travel from one planet to another. We will have to wear special clothing to protect us from the heat and the cold and we will wear masks to help us breathe. Children will go to school, but they won't have a human teacher. Robots will teach them. Robots will also do all of the cooking and cleaning in our homes.
