The 25^th of December is Christmas Day. It’s the1) main holiday for English –speaking people all over the world.

Some weeks before Christmas people are very 2)busy. They send greeting cards to all their friends. Some people buy cards, children make their cards at schools. The main symbol of this holiday is a Christmas tree. People 3) decorate them with toys, colour balls and little lights. On Christmas 4) Eve children put their 5) stockings near their beds. At night 6) Santa Claus comes. He has a big bag of presents and puts them into children’s stockings. It’s an old 7)tradition to open presents at Christmas in the morning.
