The Teapot

• This fairytale under the title “The Teapot” was written by Hans Christian Andersen.

The main character of it is the Teapot. It lives on the dinner table . The Teapot is proud of being made of porcelain and of its spout and handle. He tells everybody on the dinner table about it. But it doesn’t tell about its cracked lid. The whole tea service knows about the lid and they discuss it a lot and he know it. The Teapot knows its problems but it wants to be the best.

• One day the Teapot is drop by an awkward hand and its spout and handle brake off. The next day the masters give the Teapot to a poor woman. The woman plants a flower bulb in the Teapot. It is very happy because the bulb is its living heart.

• One day the woman brakes the Teapot in two and the flower is put into a better pot. But The Teapot isn’t sad because it has sweet memories. It has them forever.
