I Phonetics
1. Типы слогов
3 тип — заканчивается на r ( гл. + r + согл.): car, bird, fork.
Чтение ударных гласных в III типе слога.
a + r– [a:] car, far, bar, Mars, park, start, farm
o + r – [o:] sport, lord, fork, sort, or, nor.
2. Read the words: farm, car, port, bar, far, sort, Mars, start, or, nor, lord,
park, fork.
3. H/t Read the words: name, fox, car, sport, farm, fork, start, can, cart,
nose, spot, rose, date, home, lake.
II Grammar
The verb “to be” in the Future Simple Tense
Study the rule:
Positive sentences | Negative sentences | Questions |

Short answers:
Yes, I/you/he/she/it/we/you/ they will.
No, I/you/he/she/it/we/you/ they won't.
The indicators:
tomorrow - завтра
the day after tomorrow - послезавтра
next week (month, year) – на следующей неделе (в следующем месяце, году)
in a year (minute) – через год (минуту)
soon – скоро
Examples:
I will be here tomorrow.
Will you be at the party next week? - Yes, I will./ No, I won't.
Practice:
a) Put in will be and translate the sentences.

6. Look at the words on p.28 ex.1 and answer the question: What will you look like (выглядеть) in 5 years? Work in pairs.

7. Hometask: Put in will be, won't be, will … be.
