ТУРНИР ЗНАТОКОВ АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА

«IN THE WORLD OF ENGLISH»

Цель: закрепление имеющихся знаний в области английского языка посредством игровой ситуации.

Задачи:

Образовательная

- повышать познавательный интерес учащихся к языку через использование игровых моментов;

- закрепить умение употребления в речи разговорной речи;

- обучение навыкам восприятия на слух иностранных слов.

Развивающая

- развивать внимание и память учащихся;

- развивать умение работать в группе.

Воспитательная

- умение работать в сотрудничестве с другими;

- воспитывать уважительное отношение к другой культуре.

Ход занятия

Организационный момент. Приветствие.

Т:Good morning, pupils! It’s a lovely day! I’m very glad to see you!

Today we are going to have an unusual lesson. It’ll be a lesson - competition. Everybody will have possibility to be a winner. At the end of the lesson the winner will be given a prize. Be very attentive and try to do everything correctly.

1. “Patters”

Our first task is patters. Read them on your cards and try to pronounce them correctly. Скороговоркинужнонаписатьнаотдельныхкарточках и раздать их членам команды. Кто лучше и четче произнесет, тот и победит.

2. A girl sees three big grey geese.

2. “Mistakes”

Find the wrong word in the line and correct it.Командамдаетсязадание – убратьоднолишнееслововкаждойстрочке. И нужно объяснить, почему это слово лишнее.

1. peach, pear, chicken, apple, banana

2. tail, cat, mouse, dog, rabbit

3. bird, airplane, kite, helicopter, bus

3. «Associations»

And now listen to the different topics and draw the pictures.Согласно заданным темам команды должны изобразить рисунки.

4. «Riddles».

Now listen to the riddles.

1. It’s not a man, it’s not a woman, but it teachers us (a book).

2. Five sons with one name (fingers).

3. Two brothers, but they don’t see each other (eyes).

4. It’s white and cold and sweet. All children like it (ice-cream).

5. It gives us milk and butter too. It’s very kind and likes to moo (a cow).

What is it? (sugar)

 7.I am purple, yellow, red, and green

The King cannot reach me and neither can the Queen.

5. «Creative imagination»

Listen to the text and then try to draw the main moments. Прослушайте текст и графически отобразите на бумаге основные моменты текста.

6. «Poems»

Make rhymes to the words.Придумайте рифму к каждому слову. Например, take – cake, mother – another…

Bad - … (dad, sad, mad)

Cat - … (fat)

7. «Idioms and proverbs»

I think you like proverbs and sayings. Now we will have possibility to check up your knowledge. Учащимсяпредлагаютсяпословицынаанглийскомязыке. Они должны подобрать к ним эквивалент на русском.

8. «Name the picture»

Now imagine yourself in Tretyakov Art gallery. Look at the pictures and call their names.

Представьте, что вы находитесь в Третьяковской галерее. Посмотрите на картины и назовите их.

9. «Chainword»

Guess the chainword. Решитечайнворд, вписаввегоклеточкиантонимыданныхслов: late, no, big, more, buy, short, bad, up, far, poor, low, cold, thin.

Key: early, yes, small, less, sell, long, good, down, near, rich, high, hot, thick.

10. «Mainpoint»

Look at the some pictures and call themain idea.Посмотрите на несколько картин и скажите какая идея их объединяет.
