Условные придаточные предложения
First Conditionals
условные предложения I типа выражают реальные, возможные ситуации в будущем . Вероятность, что действие произойдет, очень велика.
Чаще всего вводятся союзом if (если).
IF (When) Present Simple, Future Simple .
IF (When) V1 (s), will+ V.
If you go to Rome
You' ll see the Coliseum.
If you go to London
Maybe you’ ll see the Queen.
If you stay with me
You won’t see anything.
But you’ ll be very happy,
That’s for sure.
If you climb the mountains,
You’ ll be above the noisy crowds.
If you catch a jet plane,
You’ ll be above the clouds.
Put the verbs into correct form:
1) If you (to help) me, I (to finish) this work in an hour.
2) When (to be) ready, I (to call) you .
3) We (to go) to the zoo if my father (to have) free time.
4) If you (to give) me some money, I (to buy) you a ticket.
5) We (not to play) football if the they (to be) late.
If I go to the USA this summer, I will visit....

If you break a mirror, you will have seven years bad luck.
If you talk of the devil, he will appear.
If you see a small spider, you will get a lot of money.
If you scratch your left hand, you will give money away.
If you touch wood, your good luck will continue.
If a black cat crosses your path, you will have good luck.{In Britain}.
If a black cat crosses your path, you will have bad luck. ( In Russia).
Second Conditionals
выражают действия, совершение которых в определенных ситуациях в настоящем оказывается нереальным.
Вероятность, что действие произойдет, практически равна нулю.
На русский язык переводятся сослагательным наклонением (формой прошедшего времени с частицей бы ).
IF Past Simple (V2) , would + V .
e.g. If my friend phoned me, we would go to the country

What if you could snap your fingers and go anywhere you wished? { Coose the places you would like to visit most and say why.}
What if you were elected president of Russia? ( Think of five improvements you would try to make.)

Потом ребята пытаются представить, что могло случиться, если бы эти события не произошли (произошли ).
If I hadn’t been rude to my mother, she wouldn’t have kept me from visiting my friends on Sunday.
If I hadn’t made it up with my friend, we wouldn’t have had such a good time together on the beach. И т. д.
