Тема: Моральные и духовне ценности в жизни человека
Цель: - осмислить основную идею произведения, его композиционные и сюжетные особенности;
развивать творческие способности, креативность мышления, жизненные и речевые компетенции;
воспитывать моральные и духовные качества учащихся.
Оборудование: костюмы, декорации, видео- и аудиотехника
Время проведения: 45 минут
Количество участников представления: 25 учеников
Сценарий
Ведущий 1: It was Christmas Eve in London. All over the city people were preparing for the great Festival the next day. But not Ebenezer Scrooge, he didn’t believe in Christmas.
(на сцене Скрудж в своем кабинете )
Скрудж: Christmas! Bah! Humbug! That’s all humbug! I tell you.
Ведущий 1: Scrooge called Christmas «humbug». To him it was a waste of time. He was a businessman. He had no feelings for anyone or anything except his business. He was a money-loving man, heart-a-stone, secret, friendless and alone. He sat busy in his office. He could hear people outside in the street. It was very cold and there was a thick fog.

Ведущий 1: The door of Scrooge’s office was open, so that he could see a young man who worked as his clerk – Bob Crachet. Bob worked near the front door. Suddenly the front door flew open and for the first time that day a cheerful voice brought some warm in to the office
(на сцене появляется племянник Скруджа )
Племянник Фрэд: Merry Christmas, Bob!
Боб Крэчет: Oh, thank you, sir, and you too.
Фрэд: Is my uncle in?
Боб Крэчет : Yes, sir. I’ll tell him you are here. Excuse me, Mr. Scrooge.
Скрудж: Yeah. What is it?
Боб Крэчет: Your nephew is here to see you.
Скрудж: My nephew?! What does he want?
Фрэд: Why, uncle, to wish you a Merry Christmas, of course. God bless you!
Скрудж: Merry Christmas… Bah… If I could have my way every idiot who goes about saying «Merry Christmas!» should be boiled within his own Christmas dinner and bedded with stake of holly through his heart.
Фрэд: Uncle!
Скрудж: Nephew! You keep Christmas in your way, and let me keep it in mine.
Фрэд: Keep it, but you don’t keep it. Come and have Christmas dinner with us tomorrow.
Скрудж: I’ll see it in hell first. Chrachet!
Фрэд: Why, uncle, why?
Скрудж: Chrachet!
Боб Крэчет: Yes, sir.
Скрудж: This gentleman is leaving. See him out.
Фрэд: Uncle, I want nothing from you, I ask nothing of you. Why can’t we be friends?
Боб: Good afternoon, sir.
Ведущий 2: Just after Scrooge’s nephew left the office two gentlemen came in to ask for money for the poor at Christmas. But Scrooge never gave anything to anyone. And he sent them away without a penny.
(на сцене появляются две особы с коробкой для денег для бедных и Крэчет провожает их к Скруджу, но тот отказывает и выгоняет их из офиса )
Ведущий 2: Later that evening when Scrooge had finished work he went home, where he received an unexpected visit from an old friend – the host of his dead business-partner Jacob Marley.
Скрудж: Oh, no, it can’t be, I won’t believe it! I won’t believe it!
Ведущий 2: In his life time Marley had not care for anyone or anything except the business of making money and he was punished when he was dead. He came to warn Scrooge.
Боб Марли: When you die you will be punished too for your meanness. But you have a chance to save yourself. Three spirits will visit you tonight. And you’ll be able to change your fate
Ведущий 2: When at last Marley’s ghost had gone, Scrooge went straight to bed and fell fast asleep. But he woke up just as the clock struck 12. He lay in bed waiting for something to happen.
Привидение 1: Scrooge! Scrooge!
Скрудж: My word! I was told a spirit would visit me tonight. Are you that spirit?
Привидение 1: I am.
Скрудж: Who and what are you?
Привидение 1: I am the ghost of Christmas Past.
Ведущий 1: The Ghost took Scrooge on a journey back in time to the place, where he was born and where he went to school. Scrooge saw himself as a boy. He also saw himself as a happy young man in join a Christmas celebration. Then he saw himself as a grown-up man who’d started working for himself. Already he was beginning to harden his heart against the faction of friendship. Even against his love for a beautiful young woman called Belle.
Бэлла: No, Ebenezer. I will not marry you now. Another love has taken my place in your heart.
Скрудж: What other love?
Бэлла:A love of gold, a love of money
Скрудж: Belle!! That’s not true.
Бэлла: It is true. I see it in your eyes; I hear it in your voice. You’ve changed, Ebenezer.
Ведущий 2: Suddenly the ghost of Christmas Past was gone and Scrooge was back in his bedroom. He fell upon the bed and sank in to a deep sleep. But he woke up just as the clock struck 2. It was time for the second spirit – the Ghost of Christmas Present
Привидение 2: Scrooge! Scrooge! Look at me, Scrooge! Get to know me better!
Ведущий 2: The Spirit took Scrooge first to the house of his office clerk – Bob Crachet. There Scrooge watched as Bob and his family celebrated Christmas with laughter and joy
Merry Christmas to all! God bless you!
God bless us, everyone!
Well, Tim, God bless us everyone!
Ведущий 1: Tim was Bob Crachet’s youngest son. But everyone called him Tiny Tim because he was so small. He was ill. His legs were weak and he carried a crutch to help him walk. Scrooge watched Tiny Tim and asked the Spirit:
Скрудж: Will Tiny Tim live?
Привидение 2: I see an empty chair at the table and by that chair – a crutch without an owner. If the shadows do not change then the boy will not live to see another Christmas.
Скрудж: Oh, no, kind Spirit. That cannot be true. Tell me he would be saved.
Привидение 2: You have my answer, Scrooge. If nothing is done very soon to help Tiny Tim, then, he will die.
Скрудж: Oh, no!
Привидение 2: What does his death matter to you?
Ведущий 2: The Spirit then took Scrooge to his nephew’s house. Fred was celebrating Christmas with his family and friends. They were sitting around the fire, singing and playing games. Scrooge enjoyed this scene very much. But suddenly they all disappeared. And Scrooge and the Spirit were again on their travels.
Ведущий 1: They went to the homes of the rich and poor. They visited prisons and hospitals. They saw children which were bare foot and dressed in rags.
Скрудж: Have they no one to help them?!
Ведущий 2: Then the clock sounded 12. Scrooge looked for the Ghost but couldn’t see it. Instead he saw a tall dark figure coming towards him. As the figure approached slowly and silently, Scrooge fell to his knees.
Скрудж: Oh, Ghost of the future. I fear you more that anything. I have seen so far.
Ведущий 1: The Spirit took Scrooge to see things in the future. They visited Bob Crachet house. When Scrooge went there before with to Ghost of Christmas Past he saw happiness and laughter. Now there was only a deep sadness.
Боб Крэчет: Hello, my dear, Peter, Linda.
I was getting worried!
Forgive me. I stopped on my way home to see Tiny Tim’s grave. I wish you could have gone too. It would have done you good to see how green a place it is. But you won’t see him often. I promised Tiny Tim we would all go there, every Sunday. Oh, Tim, my little child.
Oh, father, don’t!
We’ll go there next Sunday.
And take the flowers.
Ведущий 2: Finally, the Spirit took Scrooge to a churchyard, and standing on the graves he pointed to one of them. Scrooge read his own name on the stone of the grave.
Скрудж: Spirit, hear me. I’m not the man I was. I will honor Christmas in my heart; I will try to keep the meaning of it all the year.
Ведущий 1: He held off his hands in the last prayer. But the Spirit disappeared and suddenly there in front of him was his room. Scrooge was back in his own room, he heard the church bells ringing and ran to open the window saying:
Скрудж: What day is it today?
(ответ за сценой : «Christmas day, of course»)
Ведуча 2: Realizing that all three spirits had visited him in the same night, Scrooge wasted no time, and he immediately began to behave in a different way. The first thing he did was to send a huge turkey to Bob Crachet’s house. Then Scrooge went out in to the street and shouted “Merry Christmas” to everyone he met. Later he went to church. And afterwards – to Fred’s house.
Скрудж: Well, you invited me for Christmas dinner. And so… Well, here I am, that’s if you let me in…
Фрэд: Let you in? Why, yes, of course, uncle. Come in. Millie, everyone, look who is here.
Ведущий 2: So Scrooge spent Christmas with his nephew and family and that was the happiest Christmas he had ever had. The next morning Scrooge was back at work and his clerk Bob Crachet was late. But Scrooge didn’t tell Bob off. Instead he surprised him:
Скрудж: I’m going to raise your wages.
Боб Крэчет: What?! What was that you said? Raise my wages?
Скрудж: That’s right Bob. I’m going to pay you a lot of money. ‘
Боб Кречет: I don’t understand. Are you feeling quite well?
Скрудж: Never felt better in my life. Oh, Merry Christmas to you, Bob. Yes, and the merrier Christmas that I’ve given you for many years, dear friend.
Ведущий 1: Scrooge promised to help Bob’s family. Tiny Tim did not die, and Scrooge was like a second father to him. He became as good a friend, as good a master and as good a man as any in the city. He never saw another ghost and from that day on always said of Ebenezer Scrooge that he knew how to enjoy Christmas. May that to be said of all of us.
Крошка Тим: God bless you, everyone!
(звучат аккорды рождественской песни Jingle Bells, все участники представления выходят на сцену и поют вместе со зрителями, на втором куплете к ним присоединяются танцоры и всех поднимают в общий хоровод)
