Внеклассное мероприятие

Цель: Активизация употребления лексики по изученным темам, повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка, обучение работе в команде.

Задачи:

-повторить и систематизировать ранее изученный материал.

-развивать все виды речевой деятельности.

-формировать лексические и речевые навыки путём повторения материала в разнообразных видах деятельности

-развивать положительные личностные качества (ответственность, доброжелательность, чувство взаимопомощи).

-воспитывать уважение к культуре своей страны и стран изучаемого языка.

Ход мероприятия:

I. Good day, children and our guests! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called “ Travelling to the Englishland”. Two teams will take part in our game. They are the students of 6 form. Please, children go to the scene. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1^st team?

P1: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Erudites”. Our motto is “Enjoy English!”

-Who is the captain of the 2^nd team?

P2: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Optimists”. Our motto is “Learn English!”.

II. Well, now I offer to begin our competition. Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. Now I’m going to teach you how to play this game. The game has 7 contests, they are:

· The ABC game.

· A magic 5.

· Poems and sings.

· English numerals.

· What do you know about Great Britain?

· A tongue-twister.

· Dialogue

Well, I wish you success. Be active, honest and helpful!

III. And now we come to the 1^st contest of the game called “The ABC game”. Kids, you must guess a scrambled word.

5 Name 5 professions.

6 Name 5 things that people wear.

V. The 3^rd contest is called “Poems and sings” Each team must say in turn English poems or songs, which they know. Who will be the first? Who will say more will be the winner in this contest.

VI. Well, now in the next task we check how do you now english numerals.

VII. Until they think the pupils of the 5 form sing one song.

VIII. And now we remember what we know about Great Britain. You must answer my questions , the team which answers the first and correctly wins.:

How many colors has the British flag? What are they?

What is the symbol of England?

Who is the head of the country?

What is Big Ben?

IX. The following task is for the rest . I need 1 pupil from each team. You should read the tongue-twister as quickly as you can 3 times.

X. One more contest. It’s called “ Dialogue”. Each team must ask 4 questions and the other team must answer them and vice-versa.

Our competition go to the end.Do you like it? While our jury will sum up, we have time to play. Look at the screen and say what is it?
