Тема: "Family members"

Цели:

Обучающие: Повторить и закрепить лексику по теме "Члены семьи"; Отработать грамматику по теме Can, can’t, to be

Развивающие: Развивать устную речь; Развивать монологическую речь;

Воспитательные: Воспитать уважительное отношение к членам своей семьи и окружающим.

Задачи:

Описывать членов семьи с использованием ранее изученной лексики;

Задавать вопросы о характере (членов семьи) и уметь на них отвечать;

Тип урока: обобщение и актуализация знаний.

Приемы работы: парные, индивидуальные, самостоятельная работа с текстом.

Оборудование урока: учебник, карточки

Новые слова: sweet, clever, noisy, caring, awesome, super, deep down, cheerful, noisy

Ход урока

1. Greetings (Организационный момент (2 min)

Teacher: Good morning students. I'm glad to see you. How are you doing today?

Ps: I'm good, thank you. And you? Teacher: I'm very well. Thank you. Sit down, please. Tell me, please, what day is it today?

1. Phonetic drills (Фонетическая зарядка. Введение в тему (4 min)

Teacher: Look at the board, please. Here you can see a short poem. Read the title and say it aloud. (Стих записан на доске)

My family

This is _____, kind and true.

This is _____ who cares for you

This is _____ so big and tall.

This is _____ who plays with her ball.

Teacher: So, pupils. What is the topic of our lesson? What are we going to talk about?

Ps: About our families.

1. Motivation. (2 min)

Teacher: Yes, you're right. The topic of our lesson is My family. What emition and eeling do you feel when you hear a word family? Today we are going to learn how to describe member of family. And use modal verb can, can’t. And firstly, as you see this poem has some missing words. Let's read them again and fill in. (Ученики читают слова, которые нужно вставить в пропуски)

the brother, the sister, the mother, the father

Teacher: So, please, go to the board and write down the first missing word. (Ученики выходят по одному к доске и вписывают пропущенные слова в пропуски)

Teacher: Let's read the poem aloud. (Все хором читают получившийся стих)

My family

This is the father, kind and true.

This is the mother who cares for you

This is the brother so big and tall.

This is the sister who plays with her ball.

Teacher: Great job, students!

1. Актуализация знаний (10 min)

Teacher: Now let’s get acquainted with the new words. Repeat after me.

Caring – considerate заботливый, внимательный,

Listen to the text. (2 min)

Open your books on p.56. Look at the text in ex. 2 p. 56. Let’s listen to the text.

How do you think what this text is about? True. Let's revise what family member you know. Repeat after me: mother, father, brother, sister, cousin, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, aunt. (Повторяют названия членов семьи на английском)

Teacher: So, students, how many people are there in Kate's family?

Ps: There are 7 people in Kate's family.

Teacher: Right you are. What are they?

Ps: She, her mother, father, brother, sister, grandmother and grandmother.

Teacher: Well done, students. You're so attentive. Now let's read the text one by one and know how Kate describes her family members. (Ученики читают текст по очереди и переводят)

Teacher: Great job, students. Look at the ex. 2b on p. 56. Your task is to read and decide if the statement is true, wrong or it wasn't mentioned in the text. Write down the answers in your copybooks. (Ученики самостоятельно письменно выполняют упр. 2b на стр. 56)

1. Закрепление (7 min)

Now try to retell about each member of Kate’s family. And who wants to share any information about your own family?

Teacher: Very good, students. Thank you for your work.

Next task for you is Ex. 1 p. 35 workbook

Teacher: Next task for you is Ex. 3 p. 35 workbook.

Now, pupils, I want you to make dialogues about people from Ex. 3 p.35. Work in pairs and ask each other and answer the questions about them. Tick it means that theу can do something, cross - can’t do anything

Example:

P1: Сan Joseph speak Italian?

P2: No he can’t. But he can play the guitar.

*Teacher: Thank you for your work, students. Now we know much more about each other.

Now we'll try to answer the question “What is a good family?” Each group must match the beginning and the end of the sentences:

Teacher: So, pupils, what is the topic of our today's lesson?

Sts: The topic of the lesson is ...
