План урока по английскому языку для 5 класса на 20 февраля.

Тема урока: “Types of houses” (Unit 11)

Цели урока:

Практические: к концу урока учащиеся

- смогут понять диалог на странице 28 номер 15

- узнают НЛЕ

Общеобразовательные:

- расширение словарного запаса учащихся

- расширение кругозора учащихся

Воспитательные:

- формирование навыков интеллектуального труда

- воспитание активности и трудолюбия

Развивающие:

- развитие памяти и мышления

Тип урока: урок открытия новых знаний.

Языковой материал:

Новый материал: 1) лексические единицы “cottage, apartment block, semi-detached house, terraced house, bungalow/ranch house, playing field, ice/cream van, park-keeper, picnic area”

Для повторения: 1) вопрос «where is/are…»

2) лексические единицы “multi-storey house, igloo, wigwam”

Ход урока:

I. Подготовка учащихся к речевой деятельности на английском языке.

1. Приветствие.

Good morning, stand up please. Thank you, sit down. Who is absent today?

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

Last lesson we learnt some new types of houses. What are they? (multy-storey house, country cottage, igloo, wigwam) What words can we use to describe houses (from ex 9 p 26)? (ученики называют слова)

3. Речевая зарядка

And answer my questions:

1. What house would you like to live in?

2. What house wouldn’t you like to live in?

3. Living in what house is the most interesting?

4. Where do you live?

II. Отработка ранее введенного языкового материала и овладение различными видами речевой деятельности (проверка домашнего задания).

For your homework you were to write 5 sentences, comparing you home and Rik’s house. Let’s remember what grammar we should use there (сравнительную степень прилагательных). I want each of you to read 2 of your sentences.

III. Введение нового языкового материала (на основе текста диалога).

Do you know some other types of houses? Open your books on page 28 ex 14

Let’s read the words first. Say them after me. Now match types of houses and their translation.

Now read the dialogue in ex 5. You have 5 minutes for it, and then we’ll check. Who would like to read the dialogue?

Now answer my questions:

1. Where does Tom live?

2. Where does Dasha live?

3. In what type of house does Dasha live?

4. How she describes her house?

5. In what type of house does Tom live?

6. Has Dasha ever been in a ranch house?

IV. Отработка ранее введенного языкового материала и овладение различными видами речевой деятельности.

А. Развитие умений монологической речи на основе текста

1. ОЗУ

Now I would like you to tell me in what type of house do you live and how you can describe it. For example, I live in a flat, it is tiny and cosy. So, you chose the type of house and describe it using adjectives from ex 9 p 26.

3. Now open page 30 and look at the picture. Here you can see a lot of different things. In ex 19 you can also see the pictures of some things. Now I will ask you where these things are on the picture. And you are to find them and answer. But at first let’s look at useful words and phrases. Let’s read and translate them. Now you have some minutes to look at the picture and find these things and then I’ll ask you.
