Aim of the project: To stimulate students to go in for sport

Objectives: 1) To develop basic skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing and 21 century skills

2) To bring up the sense of responsibility for health

1.Teacher asks curious questions:

How do you feel when you play the sport? How does the sport smell?!

How does the sport look? How does the sport taste?

If you could ask the sport a question, what would you ask?

What would it say?

2.Revising of Irregular Verbs through the game «Bingo!».

Planning

1.Students make 2 groups according to Picture Puzzles( teacher should cut pictures ( as many pictures as members of the group and mix them up in a hat. Each person takes one piece and partners are those whose pieces form a complete picture.

2. Teacher creates essential questions; students create aims objectives, and plan for the project

3. “Speed chatting” exercise(Teacher prepares one or two simple questions related to the topic of the reading, asks the class to make two rows facing each other,then, encourages learners to ask each other the questions, they only have 60 seconds to do so. Once the 60 seconds are up, one of the rows rotates so each learner has a new partner.)

4.Students read the text “Sports in our life”

Students answer the questions:

1) What thing is also important to keep fit?

2)What products do you think are useful for health?

Then teacher introduces new vocabulary

3)1. Fill in the gaps (products)

2.The task is to change the form of sentences from Present Indefinite Into Past Indefinite

4) Distribute the products to groups( dairy, fruits, vegetables) and add some more useful food, if you know

5) Students choose important categories of ideal sportsmen and they make a poster(model) - the final product of the project.
