The theme of the lesson: “My room”

The aims of the lesson:

1.Educational aim: to teach pupils to describe their own house and rooms, to teach pupils how to use prepositions

2. Developing aim: to develop their phonetic and lexical skills, to enrich their vocabulary, to develop pupils’ ability working in groups

3.Bringing up: to teach children to be attentive, kind and polite, to bring up feelings of friendship and to respect each other

Procedure of the lesson:

1. Organization moment

-Good morning pupils!

-Who is on duty today?

-Who is absent?

-What date is it today?

Divide in 3 groups by furniture things

2) Revise previous lesson: Play: “Rooms of a house Quiz” (teacher show the pictures on A/b, pupils answer on worksheets )

1) Where in the house do you brush your teeth? bathroom

2) Where in the house do you cook food? kitchen

3) Where in the house do you sleep at night? bedroom

4) Where in the house do you watch TV? living room

3) New Lesson

a)Dear children , our friend Alibek invited guests but his house is not clear. Let’s help him to clear his house. We can help him if we will learn new lesson.
