Balguzhina Sabina 31 ER: “Why creating illustrations helps understand and remember meaning of English idioms?”

We think that this question is provocative because it deals with the problems of memorizing English idioms and their using in our speech. Also the question is open-ended because there is no exactly answer. At the end of the project every student will create his own “Journal illustration of idioms”, which shows his/her acquired skills. The question is challenging because it requires doing a lot of tasks and researching information. The question is relevant to discipline because the issue is directly related to the teaching of the English language. Idioms play an important role in English speech. If you don’t know English idioms It will be hard to understand speech.

Chunina Anna 31 ER: “Why creation a fairy tale/audiobook helps learn the Past Simple tense?”

Yes, it is provocative because it encourages students to think wider. While creating this project students will be able to improve their collaboration skills and creativity. This question is open-ended because there will have completely different result at the end of the project. During the project students have to do a lot of work to plan every step, that is why it is challenging. This question is relevant to the discipline because it includes reading, writing, listening and speaking activities which are crucial skills in English language teaching and students will learn and practice The Past Simple tense.
