Открытый урок в 11 классе

Задачи: обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся, полученные по данной теме – лексика, грамматика ( суффиксы сущ-х) через аудирование, монологическую и диалогическую речь.

Тип урока: повторение и закрепление полученных знаний с использованием информационных технологий.

Обучающие цели: а) совершенствование коммуникативных умений;

б) увеличение объема знаний по теме;

в) увеличение объема используемых лексических единиц.

Развивающие цели: а) развитие навыков аудирования, диалогической речи и монологического высказывания по теме;

б) развитие лексических и грамматических навыков.

в) развитие критического мышления учащихся.

Воспитательные цели: а) воспитание нравственности, трудолюбия, культуры общения в коллективной деятельности;

б) развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления;

в) содействовать профориентации учащихся.

Оборудование: учебник, тетрадь, проектор, компьютер, раздаточный материал по теме, презентация.

Ход урока.

1. Орг. момент.

Teacher: Good day, boys and girls! I’m so glad to see you. Good day dear juries! Welcome to our lesson.

Т: The last 2 years are very important for you. It is quite clear, because you will get a certificate of Secondary Education. There is a serious task for you – choosing your road of life. What are your future plans?

P1: First of all I will pass State Exams. Then I should choose an Educational Institute and then to get a good job.

P2: I agree. Of course, the problem of choosing profession is very important to me.

P3: The choice of the profession usually determines the choice of the Educational Institution.

P4: Yes, almost all jobs require the candidate to have a diploma of a college or a University.

Teacher: Of course, the problem of choosing profession is very important to you now, how do you think, what is the theme of our lesson today?

All professions and occupations are divided into 5 types according to the character of work: man-man, man-machines, man-symbols, man-object of art and man-nature.

Stars and Professions

There are 12 star sings, and people who belong to a definite sign have their own character, habits and manners. Perhaps, you don't know, but to choose a career is possible, proceeding from the date of your birth. What professions are the most suitable for you? Read and choose.

So if you were born under the sign of Aquarius (21st January - 18th February) you like to be free. You have original ideas. Some of your ideas are crazy! Aquarius will accept the professions connected with progress such as the programmer, the web designer, the expert in mobile phones.

Pisces (19th February - 20th March) are friendly and kind. They are good at art and they love music. They often lose things and forget the time.

Aries (21th March - 20th April) like jokes, parties and loud music. They are good at sport. They don't often ask for advice. Sometimes they're a bit selfish.

The people who are born under the sign of Taurus (21st April -21st May) work hard. They are very practical and helpful. They don't like changes. They like food! Your zodiac sign accepts the professions connected with financial activity, insurance, building. Professions of accountant, economist, banker, realtor, architect are recommended, but the most suitable jobs are landscape designer, floral artist, farmer, biologist. Besides, Taurus is a sign of painters, sculptors, actors.

If you're Gemini (22nd May - 21st June) you love surprises. You like chatting with your friends. You do a lot of things at once. They prefer work, connected with trade and advertising , such as sales representative, shop-assistant. They are successful in sphere of information, there are many famous linguists, journalist, editors

Group №1 will be working with text, group № 2 группа –make up your own dialogs with the words: profession, job; group № 3 should name as many professions that require knowledge of English as you can. You may use dictionaries.

“Six thinking hats” is about improving communication and decision-making in groups .It helps to structure thinking and make it more effective. Suggestions, judgments, criticism, information and emotions are all mixed together.

The “Six thinking hats” are different ways of looking at an issue that has to be decided, each “Thinking Hat” is a different style of thinking.
