This is the season When children can ski, Play snowballs And dance round the New Year Tree.

This is the season When birds make their nests. This is the season We all like best.

This is the season

When nights are short

And children have plenty

Of fun and sport.

Boating and swimming

All day long

Will make us well and strong.

This is the season

When school-friends meet;

When noisy and gay and brown in the sun

With their books and bags

To school they run.

If the weather is good, I shall go to the wood.

If the weather is bad, I shall stay in my flat.

If the weather is cold, I shall put on a warm coat.

If the weather is wet, I shall drink coffee in bed.

If the weather is fine, I shall be very kind.

If the weather is sunny, I shall draw something funny .
