I had a great day! I got up at 7 o’clock and the sky was blue. I met Larry and George at the port at 9 and we left for the Little Island. The sea was calm and the trip took only an hour. When we arrived we went swimming and then we had a picnic on the beach.

In the afternoon we went for a walk around the island. We found an empty house on the top of the hill. There were some strange paintings on the walls of the house. It was cold. When we came out of the house, the sky was grey and soon it started to rain. We decided to leave the island but the sea was very rough. The boat moved up and down and from one side to another side. We were afraid but it was fun too. It took us two hours to get back but we arrived safely.

When I got home, mum was very worried but I told her that I had had a really good day.
