Types of sentences:

Declarative – Повествовательное Interrogative – Вопросительное Exclamatory – Восклицательное Imperative – Повелительное

Make up sentences:

  1. On, three, women, sitting, old, were, the, rocks

  2. Gets, up, in, very, he, summer, early

  3. Like, does, he, not, stories, short, to, read

  4. Him, Mary, an, book, interesting, gave.

  5. No, the, boys, skates, had, steel.

  6. Looked, curiously, the, boy, her, at.

  7. Was, a, woman, little, she, a, face, round, with

  8. Small, they, quickly, a, field, reached.

  9. Never, as, so, have, today, happy, been, I

  10. Wants, English, to speak, she, well.

Change affirmative sentences into negative:

  1. He is writing a letter to his grandparents now.

  2. She lives in Moscow by herself.

  3. They have been studying all the time.

  4. We wanted to get there late as possible.

  5. You will receive all necessary information soon.

  6. He had finished his lessons by 8 o’clock.

  7. I have seen him recently in the central square.

  8. She is a talented pianist.

  9. Julia had a big fluffy dog.

  10. Our teacher can speak loud.

  11. They went to the railway station early.

Put general, disjunctive, special, alternative questions to the sentences:

  1. He gave me an amazing book last week.

  2. A wonderful idea crossed his mind.

  3. At two o’clock he got up and went to the pharmacy.

  4. On the doorstep lay her blue handkerchief.

  5. He bought a very pretty tie yesterday.

  6. He entered the room quickly and noiselessly.
