The theme of the lesson: “The best translator”

The aims: a) educational: to enrich pupils' knowledge of the foreign language, to show the  

                  importance of being well – educated to enrich pupils' knowledge about Kazakhstan

                  and Great Britain, to teach to work creatively; find information while reading the text; 

                  to  develop oral and written speech

                b) developing: to develop pupils intellect, speech habits through speaking, listening

                    and writing in three languages.

               c) cultural: to bring up the culture communication and need in

                   practical use of languages. To bring up patriots of their Motherland

The kind: a competition lesson Visual aids: interactive board, presentation, pictures, proverbs and riddles in three languages Kazakh, Russian, English The method of the lesson: a game

Indira: Good afternoon, dear teachers, pupils and guests! We are glad to see you and we hope you will enjoy today's game. You are welcome to our intellectual show which is named “The best translator”. Today at our school we have a big competition. Today we will define the cleverest pupil.

Mira:

Indira: Our competition is consists of 5 stages. They are:

2. “Guess the riddles”

   “Working with the pictures”

Before our competition let’s invite our judges. They will give you marks for the competition. Our jury consists of the following teachers. So I wish all of our groups good luck with playing game, you and check your knowledge.

Mira:

Indira: The first round: “Introducing” Now let’s begin the competition! Then they‘re presentations of their teams. There are 5 teams.

Indira: Now our second round  is “Answering the questions”. At this round you must answer our questions. Each every correct answer you will get 10 points.

Indira: The third round is “Guess the riddles”. We will give you some riddles and you will try to guess them. Then you must translate these words into Russian and English. If you give us the correct answer in 3 languages you will get 30 points. Listen
