Teacher names numbers from 1 to 12 orally, one of the pupils must write the number in words at the blackboard:

8-eight

11-eleven

12-twelve and etc.

There are jumbled numbers at the blackboard. Teacher asks pupils to put the numbers in the right order. Then teacher names the numbers and pupils repeat after the teacher:

Game:Teacher put up the poster at the blackboard, where the numbers are written in words. And put cards on the desk, where the numbers are written in numbers. Pupils must match the numbers.

Warm up activity:

Teacher asks 5 pupils come to the blackboard. And give them 5 different numbers. Then teacher says 25:

The pupils who has the numbers 2 and 5, have to make the steps forward.

What number am I? Read and choose:

Pupils have to guess the numbers and name them in english:

  1. I am after ten, but before thirty. 20

  2. I am after eight, but before nineteen. 9

  3. I am after twenty, but before fifty: 25

  4. I am after ten, but before twenty: 17
